I began the Double Wedding Ring Quilt back in February, and though it is not coming together as fast as I wanted it to, it is coming together. With the Double Wedding Ring Template, I used the Pieced Arc Middle and Pieced Arc End templates to cut the 1,728 pieces of fabric. You can use six different fabrics to make up the arcs, however I used eight different fabrics to give contrast between the arcs. Once I cut out everything, I sorted the pieces in eight stacks, alternating the pieces to make sure the colors didn’t repeat (for the most part), producing stacks of 36 arcs per row.
Check back tomorrow to learn more about making a Double Wedding Ring Quilt.
Until then, Happy Quilting!
